I have been in the Yucatan Peninsula twice and I would go again and again. The fascinating Maya history and the astonishing landscapes make this place magic.
Take the time to discover the hidden beauties of Yucatan and don’t get stuck only with the most touristic places!
I recommend to rent a car in Cancún airport and to start your trip on the road from there. You might take a hotel in one of the villages along the coast and use it as a base to travel around in Quintana Roo state. We stayed in Villa Morena in the middle of the countryside and loved it. You might choose Mérida as base city for the second part of your trip to visit the Yucatán state.
If you are looking for seaside holidays and all-inclusive hotels, don’t loose your time reading my blog 🙂
